Stone Bridge – Pt. 2
While we were hiking (stop laughing!) the trail, Morgan was being discretely by 2 boys. She and I were walking on one side of the stream and they had climbed down at an easier location to get down near the water. Morgan decided to climb down a much steeper section and to go down to where the water entered a cave.
Here she is making her way down – you can see the boys on the other side. They were really funny, never speaking to her just keeping her in view.
This is my favorite photo – which I might use as an inspiration – maybe for a mermaid piece.
In the next photo the 2 boys are joined at the cave opening by child. The kid decided the water was really cold and went back to his father. Morgan yelled up that she was going to go across and I yelled back to take off her shoes, be careful that it might be slippery, stuff that Mom’s do – you know? As soon as she started taking off her shoes the boys looked like maybe they should RUN!
Crossing the water – Morgan yelled back that it was really really COLD! As a matter of fact it took her almost 1/2 an hour before her feet felt warm again.
So as she crossed the boys started to retreat – at one point I thought the kid with the red hat would hold out his hand to help her up – but he decided to follow his friend and get outta there! LOL
